Oooooh little one!

We had our ultrasound yesterday. Paige came into the room where I was sleeping, crawled into bed ever so quietly (not that quiet bc it woke me and Duncan up) and rubbed my back and kissed my belly and said "we are going to see you today baby"

So into the appointment we go! All ten tiny toes and all ten tiny fingers. And boy does the baby like to punch and roll and hold the hands by the face.

The baby was so active the lady could hardly keep the little one in focus but got all the measurements she needed....

On to find out what this little being is.... Now we all know how difficult I can be some times but I never thought it would be that hard to get the legs to open wide enough to know blue...... OR ...... Pink

This is my life....

"Paige clean up your mess so you can take a bath"
"Mom, how about I take a bath and THEEEEEN I clean up my mess!?"
"No Paige, I said clean up your mess first."
"Well that doesn't sound like my rule!"
"You're right, it's not, it's my rul, I'm the mom"
"SOOO! I'm the daughter! That doesn't make any sense moooooooom!"

and she's not even six and there's one on the way!

WE'RE GETTING MARRRRRRIEEEEED!!!

I'm ready, it needs to come quick or I may combust!

and so it begins....

Paige has been rambling about some "boyfriend" and I refuse to tolerate this. Every time she references him I tell her "You are too young to be tied down in a committed relationship" She laughs, I do not! Daren encourages (of course you say) ~~Valentines Day: Paige came home with her goody bag filled with cards, candy, and toys... Daren turned to Paige mid rummage and asked where her card was from her boyfriend (Ty). Paige: "Ty told me not to call him that anymore" Daren looked at me "She has no idea she just got dumped on Valentines Day!" There goes that relationship! (Scoreboard; Mom 1)

Daren has been taking Paige to Pat's in the morning, here is just a sample of their conversations...

P: Jacob doesn't like Ty because Ty tries to put hats on Jacob.
D: Alright... (with I'm sure his adorable smirk)
P: and Ty doesn't like Jacob because Ty's my boyfriend
D: Do you kiss him yet?
P: No, I kiss Jacob because he has soft hands!

When did 5 become the new 15?

Paige has become quite the little girl. She has her own personality and opinions and is far from hesitant to tell you just what she thinks! She knows how to work certain people but is still trying to find a way to manipulate Daren outwardly, deep down I know he's cracking, but is holding very still!

Paige has also become very good at games on our itouch. She was walking down the hallway to go into her room and ran into one of the office door jams, bounced into the other one and ricocheted across the hallway into the bathroom door jam. Never once did she look away from her game. She didn't even cry until Daren's laughter filled the whole house...

Wedding Update...

Well, nothing really other than the honeymoon is booked so I'm thinking all is done/well. I can't decide which I'm more excited about, the going-marrying, Cheryl coming in from Texas, or for the 7 day trip to the Riviera Maya!?!?!?!

King and queens of the animal kingdom

What a pefect day. Finally the sun came out and so did the animals! We went on a safari and saw lions, monkeys, hippos, elephants, giraffes, and many more! It was relaxing and nice to have the sun on our faces and be able to peel off a layer. Paige rode her first REAL rollercoaster as me, the lame-oid, sat on a bench. The smile on both Paige and darens face was well worth the long wait!!! Paige was grinning ear to ear just like Daren and I on Sunday, did I tell you he made me his fiancé? Anyway.... Back to the story. We plaed in hone I shrunk the kids play area and a Dino land which was fun. We finished up the day wig seeing jiminy cricket rafiki and Pocahontas. We traveled back to the magical kingdom to see the castle one last time and walk the huge tree house and get dessert! Good thing we walked a lot

Hollywood? Yes please!

Well on to the next park we go. This Time hollywood and wow did we love it!! We saw the little mermaid and playhouse Disney. Lost the stroller, well, someone else mistakenly took ours, drank our water, used it for a few hours and returned it, thanks people :). In the meantime we didn't let it slow us down we continued our adventure and saw beauty and the beast where Paige was the star of the show. After the production belle and the prince came to the front where Paige was escorted and was presented with a single red rose. All the while I was bawling at my seat!!! She looked so beautiful up there. It was definately a huge hilight of the trip! We saw fantasmic and all three of us sat in amazement as the production was done beautifully with only one set back.... Haha, the boat with the monkeys ran into the wall where two toppled over and the third fell on top of them. Good laughs!! The main street was lite up by millions of lights and was truly a winter wonderland!

Epcot!!!

We soared thru thE skies in the new ride and it was awesome for Paige and Daren, me.... Not so much. I'm not a fan of heights but I see Paige doesn't get that trait from me. She loved it and reminded me the res of the night how I didn't and how much cooler Daren is than me. We also met figmet the dragon, of ou imagination. She loved the de and the learning piece. I was in awe of all the 'worlds' and how much aladin and jasmine interacted with Paige! We got dessert and I was in heaven with my cheesecake, it was hard to share but I'm not heartless ( most of the time ).
